The Golden Harp, part 1
This pendant is not an ordinary harp: it symbolizes all the nobility and grace of an instrument whose first artistic epics are lost in the darkness of time. Based on a traditional model of Celtic harp, its creation is the fruit of an original encounter held in the Victorian era.
The Duke of Broxmouth wanted to give his wife an original piece of jewellery as a tribute to her singular personality. He had therefore called upon the services of the most renowned master jeweller of the Royal Court.
When the order was made official, the master jeweller asked to meet the Duchess of Broxmouth immediately. He was dazzled by her sunny temperament, her lively spirit and the natural freshness of her beauty.
During their conversation in the gardens of the castle, the Duchess shared with him her passion for the arts, especially music. The master-jeweller then fully understood the Duke's motivations for wanting to celebrate his beloved.
While discussing the order with his brother, also his partner, the master jeweller had the following intuition. The personalized jewelry was to be a tribute to the artistic fibre of the Duchess of Broxmouth.
A few days later, the master jeweler was in Broxmouth. On his way home, he decided to pay a courtesy visit to the Duchess.
