L' Art Deco was largely influenced by Cubism, represented in France by Georges Braque. One of the founding works of this pictorial movement is Marcel Duchamp's "Nude descending the stairs".

A modern inspiration and real originality found in the jewelry of the period, as seen here in this ring adorned with diamonds and sapphires.
