Victorian 18Kt rose gold (hallmark: owl) delicately engraved pendant.
This exotic and rare pendant dates from the Victorian period approx. 1880, also known as the British Raj.
Claw jewelry became popular during the British colonization of India: wealthy British travellers on safari brought these trophies home as souvenirs. Today, the manufacturing of such jewelry is prohibited, therefore this pendant is a collector's item. Jewelry that dates from before 1947 are permitted under CITES regulations.

For any purchase, Galerie Pénélope offers you the possibility to change the size of your ring up to 5 sizes bigger or smaller (subject to feasibility).
