18kt rose gold ring (hallmark: owl) set with an antique Roman copper coin.
The coin, a "nummus", features on the obverse a profile portrait, possibly of Flavius Valens, the 4th century Roman emperor (364-378), with the inscription "Dominus Noster Valens Pius Felix Augustus" (Our Lord Valens Pious Happy Augustus). The reverse reveals an allegory of Victory holding a crown in the right hand and a palm in the left, surrounded by the maxim "Securitas Rei Publicae" (The Security of the Public Good).
Handcrafted, handmade in Paris by our workshop, contemporary.

All our jewellery is guaranteed for a period of one year from the date on your invoice. We will repair free of charge any manufacturing or other defect, provided that this defect is not related to the use made by the customer, nor to natural wear.

For any purchase, Galerie Pénélope offers you the possibility to change the size of your ring up to 5 sizes bigger or smaller (subject to feasibility).
