Antique marquise ring in 18kt yellow gold (punch: owl)decorated with three cabochons of turquoise in a frame of fine pearls. The central oval is supported by finely chiseled, blackened gold punctuated motifs of naturalist inspiration.
Spine decorated with the inscription "HS - November 6, 1880 - November 6, 1900". Can be removed if necessary.
Edwardian work from the late 19th century.
Gross weight: 2,97g
Height of the motif: 1,50 cm
Finger size: 54 (diameter 17,15 / US 6,75).
Condition: slight wear to setting, oxidation, and micro-scratches on gold parts, turquoise slightly frosted, natural color shades, slight wear, and glue races on pearls, see photos.
Turquoise was very popular in the 19th century: blue stones were particularly popular in the 1840s, following the wave of orientalism that swept across Europe.

For any purchase, Galerie Pénélope offers you the possibility to change the size of your ring up to 5 sizes bigger or smaller (subject to feasibility).
