A superb 18Kt yellow gold and platinum ring (hallmark: owl and mascaron), set with a cabochon of star sapphire, weighing approximately 35Cts, in a setting of 8x8 old cut diamonds.
The basket is finely chiselled with vegetal motifs.
Total diamond weight estimated to be approximately 1.00 Ct.
Sapphire accompanied by a Carat Gem Lab certificate, specifying natural star sapphire without thermal modifications, from Ceylon.

Star sapphires have an asterism. If you shine an electric light on this type of sapphire, a six-pointed star appears as if by magic!
This phenomenon is caused by the reflection of light on the natural inclusions (here rutile needles) of the cabochon-cut stone.
The most important deposit is historically Ceylon, like our sapphire.

All our jewellery is guaranteed for a period of one year from the date on your invoice. We will repair free of charge any manufacturing or other defect, provided that this defect is not related to the use made by the customer, nor to natural wear.
Can I change the size of a Penelope Gallery ring?
For any purchase, Galerie Pénélope offers you the possibility to change the size of your ring up to 5 sizes bigger or smaller (subject to feasibility).
