Rectangular marquise ring in 18kt rose gold (hallmark: horse's head) set with beautiful garnets mounted on a pearl.
Regional work from Perpignan, second part of the 19th century.

Finger size: 46 (diameter 14,50 / US 3,50).
Height of the design: 2,00 cm
Condition: oxidation, shocks, chips and micro scratches on the gold parts, one small garnet certainly replaced, see pictures.
This ring is an essential piece of Catalan jewellery. Indeed, the Perpignan garnet is emblematic of the Eastern Pyrenees. According to Catalan tradition, this type of garnet is set in a bezel closed by a gold "Paillon" (red metallic paper that reflects light).

For any purchase, Galerie Pénélope offers you the possibility to change the size of your ring up to 5 sizes bigger or smaller (subject to feasibility).
