Antique coiled snake ring in 9kt rose gold (hallmark: clover), set with a crowned rose-cut diamond and three rose-cut diamonds, mounted on a foil.
Total diamond weight estimated at about 0.30Ct.
Georgian work from the early 19th Century. Certainly from Austria. Serpent jewelry was symbolizing love, loyalty and friendship.

Height of the pattern: 1.50 cm
Finger size: 55 (diameter 17,50/ US 7,20).
Condition: very slight micro scratches, oxidation, and welding traces on the gold parts, slight wear and abrasion on the diamonds, visible on the pictures.
This antique ring illustrating a snake coiled on itself is a rare and precious piece. The snake represents immortality. Like other animals, which enter the earth and come out (for example the beetle), snakes are symbols of rebirth. A ring in accordance with our values and our will to give a second life to old jewels.

For any purchase, Galerie Pénélope offers you the possibility to change the size of your ring up to 5 sizes bigger or smaller (subject to feasibility).
