Antique 18Kt yellow gold ring set with a beautiful opal cabochon weighing approximately 0.50 ct, in a circle of gold flowers.
Early 20th century work, circa 1900, Art Nouveau.
Gross weight: 3.30g
Height of the motif: 1.20 cm
Finger size: 57 (diameter 18.25 / US 8.00).
Condition: very slight micro scratches on the gold parts, and slight abrasion and drying of the opal, see pictures.
The Art Nouveau movement was born towards the end of the 19th century, its style is inspired by nature, flowers and plants. The Art Nouveau jewels are characterized by their sinuous lines, curves and organic forms, where the woman and the nature are omnipresent.
This antique jewel perfectly embodies this artistic movement with its pretty flowers and its bright opal in the colors of the rainbow.

For any purchase, Galerie Pénélope offers you the possibility to change the size of your ring up to 5 sizes bigger or smaller (subject to feasibility).
